about arrington meadows

A place shaped by hospitality, beauty, and a deep love for the land.

Arrington Meadows began with a shared belief that land is meant to be cared for, beauty is meant to be shared, and hospitality has a way of helping people return to what matters most.

Set on 20 private acres in the rolling countryside of Arrington, Tennessee, this property is a place where open meadows, mature trees, quiet mornings, and thoughtful gathering spaces come together to create something simple, restful, and deeply meaningful.

For years, portions of the land have been used for hay, and we see that agricultural history as part of what makes Arrington Meadows feel rooted, useful, and alive. In the seasons ahead, we will continue building on that story with the addition of a cut flower farm - bringing more beauty, production, and life to the acreage.

Arrington Meadows is cared for by Alissa Lawton, creative director and host, alongside Aaron Carlton, the property owner.

Alissa’s background spans hospitality, wedding planning, event design, interior design, floral artistry, and styling - all rooted in creating environments that help people feel welcomed, inspired, and at ease. She thoughtfully designed the cottage to feel warm, layered, restful, and deeply inviting.

Aaron is a longtime Tennessean, small business owner, and the property owner behind Arrington Meadows. His work has always centered around caring for people well - with a rare generosity, steadiness, and practical heart that carries into the way he stewards this land.

Together, we hope to care for this property thoughtfully while sharing the experience of slower living and the beauty of connection, with others.

Our hope is simple: that Arrington Meadows gives people space to breathe, gather, create, celebrate, and reconnect with the good things that can be easy to miss in everyday life.
